Cuando Angelica Sanchez tenía 16 años, escuchó por primer vez a Marilyn Crispell en disco. Tres décadas después, ambas dialogan a pianos en How to turn the moon, un trabajo de originales de Sanchez e improvisaciones libres.
El pianista armenio Tigran Hamasyan sigue su voraz camino creativo y presenta The call within, una llamada interior que exterioriza junto a Evan Marien en bajo eléctrico y Arthur Hnatek en batería.
Porte y elegancia clásica, dos maestros se reúnen de nuevo tras trabajar The art of conversation. En Without deception, el pianista Kenny Barron y el contrabajista Dave Holland se refuerzan con la baterista Johnathan Blake.
