Beauty and (a certain) stillness is at the core of 'One Year', the new album by trumpeter Tom Arthurs along with Richard Fairhurst and Marku Ounaskari. Tom currently leads the Jazz department at Bern University of Arts, Switzerland.
Since 1997 Julia Hülsmann is the leader of her own trio. The trio includes Marc Muellbauer (bass) and Heinrich Köbberling (drums). In recent years she added British trumpeter Tom Arthurs, with whom she has released two recordings on ECM.
